Skateistan Opens Afghanistan’s First Indoor Skate Park
They started by opening Afghanistan’s first co-educational skate school. Now the team behind Skateistan — who has created quite an international buzz for combining sports and positive change — is opening up Afghanistan’s first indoor skate park. The project has been in the works for two years, so we’re sure they’re stoked for the official opening. Big kudos to Skateistan for their continued great work. The Skatekeyboard is the work or artist Tobi Leingruber, luckily it is just a peice of art rather than a fully functional skateboard, as it looks like it would be really uncomfortable to ride.
